§ 6-31. License—Required.

It shall be unlawful for any person to own, keep, harbor or have custody of any dog or cat over four months of age within the boundaries of the city and within two miles thereof without first annually obtaining a license as provided in this division. Prior to obtaining a license, proof of a rabies vaccination shall be required, except as provided in section 6-41.
