§ 20-9. Selling firearms or weapons restricted.

(a)

For the purposes of this section, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings ascribed to them:

Firearm: An instrument which releases a projectile by means of an explosive charge.

Weapon: Any firearm or other instrument the use of which is intended or likely to cause death or bodily injury.

(b)

No person for himself or herself, or as an agent or employee shall sell, bargain, deliver, barter or convey any firearm or weapon within the city limits during the hours of 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. of the following day.
