§ 12-36. Adoption of International Fire Code.

  • There is hereby adopted by the city for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, that certain code known as the 2009 International Fire Code, being particular the edition in use the year of which shall correspond with the same year of the building code being currently used by the city, including appendices, of which code not less than three copies have been and are now filed in the office of the fire marshal, and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully set out at length herein; provided that whenever any provision shall conflict with the provisions of the city Code, or any other city ordinance, the provision of the city Code or other such ordinance shall govern.
