§ 2-248. Secretary/chief examiner.

  • The civil service commission shall appoint a secretary and chief examiner for the commission. The secretary shall keep the records of the commission, preserve all reports made to it, and perform such other duties as the commission may prescribe. The chief examiner shall superintend and keep a record of all examinations held under the commission's direction and perform such other duties as the commission shall prescribe. The commission may merge the positions of secretary and chief examiner and appoint one person to perform the duties of both positions.
