§ 2-188. Publication of city council proceedings.

  • Within 30 days after any meeting of the city council, the city clerk shall prepare and publish the proceedings of the city council in a legal newspaper within the county; provided that the charge for such publication shall not exceed three-fourths of the legal rate for advertising notices. Such publication charge shall be paid and allowed as other claims against the general fund. No warrant in payment for the publication of any proceedings of the city council, any ordinance, resolution or other legal publication printed for the city shall be issued until proof of publication thereof and five additional printed copies thereof shall have been delivered by the publisher to the city clerk.
