§ 27-203. Issuance; term.

When an applicant for a license required by this division passes the required examination and test to the satisfaction of the Permits and Inspections Department, the building official shall notify the applicant of his/her score within 15 days of the examination. After payment of a license fee as described in the Master Fee Schedule as either a master mechanical contractor or a mechanical journeyman, the building official shall issue a license to do mechanical work in the city which shall be effective and valid through December 31 of each year.
