§ 18-1. Adoption of state traffic laws.

  • To the extent that the same are enforceable, the traffic rules and regulations contained in chapter 39, articles 6 and 7, and the provisions of chapter 60, Revised Statutes, of Nebraska, 1943, as amended, are hereby adopted as the rules and regulations of the city, except such penalties as are therein provided, and except as may-be-specifically provided or modified by this Code or city ordinance. The county court is given jurisdiction over all complaints for violations of such rules and regulations and for the imposing of penalties as provided in section 1-11, "general penalty," of this Code, which shall be the maximum penalty for the purpose of this section and shall supersede all other penalties.
